For the record, the proportion of professors at Cambridge who are Black is 0.4%. The number of Black people in the UK population is 4%. So the number of Black professors at Cambridge is ONE TENTH of what you would expect in a meritocracy.

Tell me again why the "party of law and order and the military" beats the hell out of LEOs on January 6th and treats our sailors so poorly that they want to jump off of ships? MAGA being hypocritical? Say it isn't so.

I just had a delightful lunch with my 90yo MAGA grandmother. She was so upset that the sailors on the Lincoln were "whining and complaining", saying that they should get tougher. I explained to her the logistics problems involved and she sat there silent...

If you want to avoid bullying an autistic person into suicide, just don't bully anyone. Just don't be a bully full stop. Bullying is bad. Don't do it to anyone. If you want to save autistic people being bullied from suicide, call out all bullying everywhere you see it.

If you don’t vote for El-Sayed, Michigan, then Donald Trump will, for all intents and purposes, be your Senator. If Trump starts another new war, Mike Rogers will not vote to make him get congressional approval. If he levies more tariffs, Rogers will not vote against him.

I think sailors would be more willing to endure hardship if the mission made sense.

This is crazy. Alex is from Brazil, why would they deport him to Guyana? He’s a longtime West Hollywood resident who has been following his immigration requirements. He wasn’t hiding. He wasn’t on the run. He showed up for his required ICE check-in. And that’s where they detained him.

Trumpism doesn't exist in a vacuum. Tolerating corruption is a society wide phenomenon. We need to tackle corruption on all levels.

If the Democrats really want to run on an anti corruption platform (and i think they should), this means coming out against prediction markets, crypto, and sports betting, all of which are either directly corrupt or facilitate corrupt acts.
