A couple of people being made accountable for a couple of crimes really did a number on America's "public intellectuals". Clearly #MeToo and BLM went too far in that one or two guys were mildly inconvenienced.

ICE body cams have two purposes: providing a fig leaf so they can claim they’re accountable, and recording the faces of protesters they can feed into Palantir surveillance machines. It’s Donald Trump’s private militia, and it needs to be abolished. It cannot be reformed.
