I appreciate this sentiment. The timespans they note, however, are measured in decades. These are decades of our lives that will never return. While hope is there, I fear I will mourn the time lost on these pointless exercises in fear and injustice.

This can frankly go either way. Eligibility requirements will be useful to stop this sort of trolling, but they will need to be justified. This is often where things go sideways, it seems. Hoping they listen to experts rather than run with vibes.

So the "grave" is on land owned by the National Trust where they asked people to stop leaving markers because it's a sensitive wildlife area. In the end they moved the cables to a place near a bronze age burial site. Nothing about this is remotely grown up.
