This is magnificent! I've been reading the Foundation books and it's such a strong series. I'm on Foundation's Edge now, and it's cool to see the changes in Asimov's style 40 years after the the first book. He was always a great writer, but his prose aged like fine wine.

Before you use abstractions you have to understand the platform you're targeting. Don't use React if you don't know JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. It's weird because 10 years ago every front-end job wanted experience with HTML5 and CSS3, and honestly we should bring that back.

This is why I love Zed. It's fast. I don't have the patience to wait 10 years to see a diff and hope the UI doesn't crash.

Is it just me, or is it idiotic that a fork can poison the cache of a repo? Shouldn't a fork be sandboxed?
I've discovered that ReScript's pattern matching can help create unit tests that are easy to understand when something breaks.
This sums up a lot of how I feel about AI. I'm using it and I do think it's helpful, but I'm sad that the art or writing good, clean code is no longer talked about or relevant. I am hoping that the hype and bubble burst and things go back to normal.

I wish news outlets would stop using the term "falsehood" and just say "lie". Also, "misspoke" should be "said something incorrect" or "false". Why do we try and smooth over dumb things stupid people say?
