i’ve written longform journalism read by thousands and marketing stuff read by millions and essays and humor and dumb viral posts, etcetera, but i think my favorite things to write are little delightful bags and shirts and other merch that 100 people see before they disappear into the ether forever

i worked on this with local designer/photographer/genius Lizzy Johnston size years ago, and i still can’t believe it exists 🥞 JUST LOOK AT ‘EM 🥞 so silly When I start to get frustrated, I try to remember to embrace the little things. Find light in tiny, positive moments. Derive hope from the glory of a new day. After all, it could be worse. The sun is definitely shining somewhere and I’ll get to eat pancakes again someday—maybe even today.

Whatever the problem is the answer is never going to be more cops. Not homelessness, not driving laws, not public intoxication (the one kind that is bad), not solving crimes or even stopping them. The only problems cops solve is too many people alive and outside of prison.

July’s lasagna pop up features a lot of cold dishes and support the work an important organization. The dinner will be raising funds for Eo Refugio, an organization in Georgia that provides resources to detained immigrants and their families. Pre-orders go live Thursday July 16th at 7pm
