Abdul El-Sayed was outspent 9-to-1 by AIPAC and corporate Super PACs in the most expensive Senate Democratic primary of all time. Last night, he proved that organized people can beat organized money.

BREAKING: The New Mexico Department of Justice has sued Acting AG Todd Blanche and the DOJ, requesting the court for access to unredacted Epstein-related investigative files that the DOJ has been withholding.

On this day in 1944, the Gestapo found Anne Frank and her family in their Secret Annex. Her diary stands as a warning against hatred and persecution. Eighty years later, we should recognize the warning signs before it’s too late.🙂‍↕️

Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.

A good thread but I'd make one major correction: it isn't just Republicans putting on this (strategic) show of warning against progressive populist candidates. In this, they have tag-teamed, for years, with the Clintonite-right "Democrats" who dominate the party apparatus and its federal electeds.

10/ Trump feared Bernie in private. GOP operatives fear Hong in private. The receipts are public now, in black and white, straight from their own memos and recordings. Stop letting the people who want you to lose tell you who your safest pick is. Watch what they do, not what they say.

6/ Here is the line that matters most. The same memo says a more moderate establishment Democratic alternative would actually produce lower base motivation and depressed turnout compared to Hong. Republicans are telling each other privately that the “safe” moderate pick is the weaker one.

3/ Same playbook, new decade. Francesca Hong is the clear frontrunner for Wisconsin governor. Billionaire owned national media keeps calling her too extreme to win a general election. But a leaked GOP memo written for her opponent Tom Tiffany tells a very different story behind closed doors.
