Nearly every mobile game I’ve ever worked on is gone, “sunsetted” rather than made playable on current OSes. Their titles mean nothing to recruiters and hiring managers, let alone players. Even if players remember them fondly, they couldn’t play them anymore if they wanted to.

If you're curious what a non-preservationist gaming ecosystem looks like, you can look at the mobile stores, where most of the shit you remember does not exist in any form anymore.

A tiny reminder when it is as hot as it is in much of the eastern US that water alone is not enough. On cycle rides they told us for every 2 bottles of water the third should be an electrolyte formula. If you're going somewhere that limits bottled water but has refill stations, bring the powders.
