I appreciate this level of accountability. As a writer, sometimes we get things wrong. I fully believe that it's not about our mistakes, but about how we handle those mistakes after the fact. More people should be willing to be accountable like this tbh.

I do wonder when people are going to start talking about the effects on women's soccer of FIFA's newest form of corruption and the on-going brinksmanship. The Women's World Cup is the tournament most under threat immediately and it's also an event that FIFA's proposed corruption can deeply alter.

Infantino is one of the most corrupt, venal leaders in the history of sports and his newest plan is his most rotten yet. It's so bad that UEFA, which has let Infantino pilfer the sport while privately grumbling, is finally standing up to him. Might this be what finally stops the FIFA president?

Just tried to explain to a youth that when I was in college twitter accounts existed to out people making out in bars and it was often your friends sending in the photos and they told me people don’t make out in bars anymore????
