This European heatwave is more than a few nice days in Ireland. It is a reminder that the world is experiencing more extreme and deadly weather because humans continue to rely on fossil fuels. We were grateful to be able to co-author this new report with very stark results

Our first retrospective study on SUMMER 2018 has been released (check the link below!). Key findings: high temperatures experienced during June and July have become warmer and more frequent due to anthropogenic climate change, however, the climate change influence on low precipitation is less clear.

NEW: Players and fans face increased heat danger at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, since USA '94. Our results show that from Miami to Kansas City, climate change is increasing the risk of playing the World Cup in much of the northern hemisphere during summer. (1/2)
