Lupin III: Tokyo Crisis One of the better Lupin films so far, the villain plot is super convoluted, but this is a Zenigata focused one and gives him a pretty fun sidekick character in the film, and some pops lore. Also nerfing the gang was a fun twist Looks really gorgeous too for a TV film

Third Impact Anime Episode 168 Bill's Trivia Gauntlet The Return Feat. Kory from the Taiiku Podcast

I just watched Hard Boiled fantastic movie. I’m shocked some people didn’t get wounded from all the Shrapnel. If you told me that the creators of Time Crisis took everything from this movie to create their video game series. I would believe you.

I was thinking about how in the mid 2010s there seemed to be a real concerted effort at marvel to push way more female-lead titles (which had LOTS of problems, but some genuine hits), and was wondering why that went away, and what do you know CB Cebulski became EIC in late 2017

I don’t understand certain companies hoarding mentality because if you just hoard it and don’t make it accessible, it will be forgotten about and people won’t care. If you make it more accessible through multiple ways and on services people use. a show or movie will find an audience

For decades you didn’t hear much about English-speaking anime fans regarding ZZ Gundam, Gundam X etc. because they weren’t popular as fansubs. It took BD releases from Nozomi for people to finally watch them, and now those are gone. It’s a similar thing with Yamato except it never got any DVD or BD.

gotta hand it to em, INCREDIBLE speed-run transition from 'invincible swiss army retailer of manga/anime goods' to 'curated merch drops for premium members only'. took em what, 2 years? less??? jesus fuckin christ man.

physical media is awesome because you just get to look at big trophy shelves of things you've watched and played and look at other people's trophy shelves, c'mon, what's better than that

variety.com/2026/digital... Its sad this is predictable at this point. I understand founders want to make their money. it’s frustrating that the same recurring companies keep buying every company or product that gains a momentum and then we know it’s just gonna lead to Enshittification
