What a privilige to be part of this record heat... Tonight's forecast minima are even crazier: Geosphere's AROME-EPS has 26-29C, DWD's ID2-EPS ~24-27C. Daily mean temperature is going to be well over 30C and therefore a huge record.

Ein historischer Tag. Soeben wurde an der Station Wien-Innere Stadt ein Höchstwert von exakt 40,0 °C gemessen. Das gab's noch nie in der Messgeschichte der Bundeshauptstadt, der alte Rekord von 39,5 °C (gleiche Station, August 2013) ist Geschichte.
