We stand in sorrow this week. We've lost three icons of entertainment, who stood as lights for generations. We're sad that they're gone, but let's not forget why we're sad to lose them. They touched our hearts. They reminded us to be good, to be gentle, to be weird.

It was hard enough losing Dolly yesterday. ☹️ And now, we cry a sea of black tears for our very own Doviculus: The irreplaceable Tim Curry.  May these beloved legends rest well, as we carry their spirit forward~   🩷🖤

Gargoyles is such a fantastic example of the fact that you don't just have to keep recycling old IP if you want to build an audience. This cartoon emerged feeling so fully-formed and so confident in its storytelling that it remains a strong influence on fantasy animation to this day.

So I rewatched Ratatouille earlier tonight, still a brilliant movie. But I wanted to take a moment to highlight Anton Ego's review in the film's finale, and how poignant it is as someone who's done reviews on YouTube for a fair while.
