Dropping a bunch of sketches here because why not?I tend to overthink too much when posting stuff I've not been finalizing a lot of drawings lately
Besides painting Ume I also tested different blue for Hiraeth’s main colours without the pearlescent pigments just to get a rough idea of it. It’s not showing well on the photos but I think I’ve settled on Army Painters’ Deep Blue
Also sanded, primed, resanded, glued two parts together (staying that way until the end for easier painting), fixed gaps on Hiraeth and the fish. This figure is too bug for my side of the desk so I’m stealing a bit of my partner’s corner 😂

More commissions from the last few months that I've been working on
The thing about video games is you can make them as art that you're making for art's sake, or you can make them as commercial products that you mean to sell to make money; but what will really cause you grief is setting out to do one while convincing yourself you're doing the other.
Murkow in a graveyard. Another mini illustration to go with the rowlet one. Experimented with black and white but decided to go with the colour one.
I made thing I´ve been trying to find a style for a personal project I want to develop. I don't think this is it yet but I think I want something in this direction

a little tiny microscopic dragon, rotifers passing by. I've spent a lot of time peering down a microscope in the last few years, enjoyed taking inspiration from the real tiny organisms to make one of my own.
