The buck stops where? Pay equity and the coalition government. My Stuff #cartoon today. #NZpol #PayEquity #PeoplesSelectCommittee

Cartoon. Title: “The Ten Bucks Stops Here”. Image shows PM Christopher Luxon opening a wallet, and a $10 note pops out of the wallet with “The People’s Select Committee” written on it. Kate Sheppard on a $10 note points at Luxon’s forehead and says “What. Were. You. All. Thinking?”

Disinformation spreads so easily online because of the architecture of social media platforms & lack of accountability for info that gains virality. Mainstream media need to take the time to check sources & ultimately make sure they're not feeding into the same often racist, misogynist framing

We've seen bullying in local government recently. But it starts at the top. I launched this petition because our Deputy Prime Minister belittled people for exercising their democratic rights. His behavior sets the tone and empowers others. This must stop. #nzpol

#NZ He wrote the email to smear & discredit Tory. He regrets being caught. He undermined his campaign. His email a blatant political attack & He abused Tory. “To be crystal clear”, this did start with Him. He should call himself out - out of the race. He’s not fit for office.

Despite enduring a constant stream of false and malicious rumours throughout this term, I’ve chosen to stay focused on our city’s progress. Now, mayoral candidates who have helped spread these rumours are standing for election. This behaviour is not acceptable and voters deserve to know. #nzpol
