It's amusing to observe Curtis Yarvin in this setting. He seems quite in love with the sound of his own voice. And most of his utterances are the sort of banalities you'd expect of a recent autodidact—wowed by the most superficial connections, and lacking deeper contextual knowledge.

On the blog for the Fourth of July, a musing discussion of the American civil-military relationship, one of the United States' most remarkably successful traditions, almost two and a half centuries old, yet now fraying out of neglect and malice. acoup.blog/2025/07/04/c...

I’m (re)reading @brianmbendis.bsky.social Daredevil run. I had stopped because I was missing a couple of issues and didn’t want to read it out of order. Someone found the missing issues for me, something I never had luck with, so I dug everything up to read from the start.

Cover for a collection of Bendis’ Daredevil run.

BREAKING: Trump's billionaire Commerce Secretary says that seniors won't care if they don't get their Social Security checks — and that anyone who does complain is a fraudster.

#WeReadsComics Apparently Kieron got distracted again, so I’ll take it upon myself. This week I’m going with another oldie, Midnight Nation by J. Michael Straczynski and Gary Frank. Not sure what to say about without spoiling anything, so I’ll just say this: it’s one of favorite comics ever.

Cover the comic series Midnight Nation by Straczynski and Frank of a man in the foreground standing under a street light with a police car in the background and the image of a woman’s face in the sky above
