Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
I'm so tired of werewolf movies being like: Oh no, am werwulf. The citizens go on no, werwulf, where wolf? And then the wolf goes lul it me, and kills the person as they figure it out. It's such a damn tired trope. Why can't we get more stories like Bisclavret, is it because it's French??

It was really good. The ending felt genuine, real, it didn't feel forced or like some ham-fisted conclusion to just slap a bow on it. It's somber hope. I really did enjoy it, but it is a calm, comfortable enjoyment. I will buy it if Mark produces a Blu Ray, and I will definitely watch it again.
Papersamurai@papersamurai00.bsky.social · 8mo agoSo, yeah, saw "Iron Lung", and it was really good. If you like a slow-burn sci-fi cosmic horror with a sense of claustrophobia I'd say it's for you. Great character work and storytelling, even while playing it's cards close to the chest. I hope it gets a blu-ray release.
Know the difference! It can decide weather you get kept as a pet or kept as THE pet. Came out pretty well, I'd say. I do like variety in goblin style. If I redid it, I'd do better with the text...and spot the typo. Ah well. #Art #TraditionalArt #Goblin #Princess
