We're going to the BC Court of Appeal! Bill 21 forces lawyers with addictions to undergo abstinence-based "medical treatment" with the threat of job loss & imprisonment if they don't comply. We argue this violate the Canadian Charter & infringes upon the rights of workers with addictions.

To be eligible for a liver transplant in BC, patients have to be abstinent from alcohol for 6 months. Hopefully the Human Rights Tribunal will force the province to stop this discriminatory requirement that disproportionately harms Indigenous people. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
