The asshole administration is planning to remove the mining buffer around Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. This is being done without tribal or expert input and the public comment time is incredibly, and cowardly short. Please comment to help try and save Chaco. www.koat.com/article/chac...

Canada's boreal forest is the largest continuous intact forest ecosystem on Earth. Spanning 1.2 billion acres from the Yukon to Newfoundland, it is larger than the Amazon and represents 25% of the world's remaining untouched primary forest. Most people have never thought about it once.
My first card art reveal for the Magic the Gathering Star Trek set! 'Explore' features Captain Archer and his dog, Porthos, setting off on an adventure in an alien world. AD: Colin Boyer
One thing I love about Star Trek... Exploration isn't treated as conquest. It's treated as learning. That distinction matters.

Zomg I’m in the National Geographic Museum Of Exploration! Go behind the scenes of my PBS series LIFE UNEARTHED WITH ARIEL WALDMAN and see the equipment I used to film it entirely solo in Antarctica. I’m over the moon with how cool the museum is and how awesome it is to be part of it.
One month later! Mostly finished except for touchups and cleaning some missed spots. It was fun to complete this task!

Polish immigrants from Portage County and others. Left photo above is WHS ID No. W011HBI, right is W011HGU. Whoever got Van Schaick's photos into the WHS collections is an unsung hero. You can see some of them in People of the Big Voice. wisconsinart.org/product/peop...
