You know who wouldn't lay off 3200 workers? Workers. Game developers deserve control over the means of game production, and at this point I'm convinced that even the short-term viability of the game industry depends on us seizing it.

Having an LLM rewrite targeted docs for an individuals exact set of skills and knowledge level seems like a good idea. I feel like some of these obvious things aren't being worked on because they're too easy to implement. No one wants to invest in even a really helpful tool if the idea will be taken

One of my favorite modern UX problems is opening an app and finding a random new icon that apparently everyone is supposed to understand instantly. At least put a tooltip on it.

Still can't tell if I'm more productive working early in the day or later in the day. Getting out of bed knowing you have to jump into work is miserable. But then at night you can truly relax, compared to kind of procrastinating all day and then going to sleep with work thoughts still in your head.

Has anyone ever solved a concurrency bug by adding a delay... and then not regretted it later? 😂 Fixed a flash where I was rendering by adding a delay to the loading state to let the useEffect run. But then when data was cached the loading was false so it'd flash anyway 🙃

AI can generate polished looking output fast, but prototyping is usually where I need to think through the problem, not skip past it.

I was surprised to learn how many cookie consent tools don't actually test the stuff you'd need to verify compliance.

I kind of appreciate when an AI app makes the input box usable before the rest of the page loads. But if it starts accepting input before it's actually ready, you end up sending half a sentence and wasting a response on nonsense.
