I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to watching Avengers: Doomsday. But it's in the same way that I was excited to watch Amazon's War of the Worlds (2025).
First poster for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ 🟢
Nevermind, that was fast. Thanks Yall✨
So my headphone broke last night, and I kind of need decent ones to make sure the audio quality for my videos is working (and a number of other aspects). Started a fundraiser on my Throne if you want to chip in and help ✨ throne.com/squodgephelp...

Andy Burnham has the opportunity to do the funniest fucking thing.
asha sharma going "we want 1 billion players a day" a nice reminder that these execs are fundamentally incapable of understanding that their customers do not have infinite money or even just that time is finite. they just think you haven't been fed the right marketing yet to get you on board

Indie games suffered knock-on effects from the behavior of “AAA” executives. Things don’t happen in self-contained bubbles. From consuming studios to driving up costs to squeezing small companies out, many things have made game development less viable at all levels. The industry was hijacked.
I fucking love video games. I love video game developers. I love video game artists. I love video game programmers. I love video game animators. I love Video game audio technicians. I love video game QA testers. I love video game designers. I fucking hate the video games industry.
incredible of playstation to announce the end of physical disc production the week after they deleted all the movies you bought digitally from your account
Man. I fucking hate this so much. I buy all my console games on physical media, because I like actually owning the game. Physical media is so important for preservation, and it's sad that executives simply don't care about the art form they've burnt down for profit.

Godot’s new AI policy is here. the TL;DR: all code must human authored.
For years we have been overwhelmed by the volume of code contributions we have to review, especially from new contributors. AI has made the problem much worse. That's why we are taking steps to reduce the burden on maintainers while still welcoming new contributors: godotengine.org/article/cont...

Ryan Creamer, famous for posting wholesome videos on Pornhub with erotic titles, being on the official Pokémon game show gives me some confidence that my sex work won't bite me in the ass at any point.
This is epic games ceo tim sweeney objecting to steam making people tag their games if they used ai to make them. It’s weird how much work people do to treat people having preferences as fucked up or harmful
The UK heatwave means I have to take a break from editing every few hours, just to let my home office cool down. The fact I've also been using some 3D elements in the video also isn't helping keep things cool. Next video should still be out next week, but probably in the latter half.
Our games industry is people. Our studios are people. Our teams people, our games by people for people. Our games are made by people, in groups of people, in teams of people, making people things for people. The magic is people, and the people deserve so much better than all this. I am so sorry.
Microsoft blaming the rising costs of computer components after spending $146 billion dollars on AI investments
yeah the steam machine is expensive, but the good news is everyone is making so much more money thanks to our AI-enhanced productivity
"Game dev is one of those jobs you only do when you really want to. It's not going to make your parents proud, you're unlikely to get rich in an industry that lays off people for making superhits, and its a demanding & confrontative job. Why would you let a machine do the thing you're here to do?"
I spent the last few months talking to over 30 game developers about generative AI. It began as a sort of interview survey but became a pretty comprehensive collection of arguments against the technology altogether. www.gamesradar.com/games/why-so...
Its just this meme over and over again. STOP BUYING STUDIOS TO CLOSE THEM
I want to see Microsoft itself collapse while the studios it essentially holds at gunpoint are able to get away (relatively) unscathed. I would rather have a games industry with Double Fine, Ninja Theory and Compulsion in it than ever see an Xbox again
Trying to incorporate some more of my 3D skills into my videos. Next one will be a little longer, as the research needed has used a wider number of sources, but I reckon it'll be a damn good'n!
i created this meme like 4 years ago on twitter and it went super viral and i think i got like 20 death threats. that's how you know i was cooking with this one
