This little boy just watched his father being taken away. We've reached a place where people celebrate moments like this. They quote scripture, talk about God's will, and then cheer while a child cries. That's not what loving your neighbor looks like.

Drivers complaining about their taxes subsidising public and active transport is like ordering all the most expensive items on the menu, refusing to share them, splitting the bill, and then complaining about having to pay for everyone else's meal of one serving of breadsticks.

Watching Dr. Fauci today, having to plead the Fifth, will remain one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever witnessed. And then hearing Sen. Moreno ask him, “Who the fuck do you think you are?” To me, it reflects a profound loss of respect, for both public service and the office he holds.

When urbanists take pictures of a Paris street (like Rue de Rivoli) showing all the people on bikes now taking advantage of protected infrastructure, it’s not just because we “like bikes.” It’s because we’re picturing the gridlock if they were driving cars. And the public cost, pollution, noise…

Spain’s Nico Williams gave his mother, Maria, his World Cup winner’s medal after Sunday’s final ❤️💛 Nico's parents trekked some 2,000 miles across the Sahara from Ghana to Spain as refugees. Now, their son is a world champion 🥹

Hard to think of a more deeply damaging start to Burnham’s premiership than giving green light to new oil & gas in N. Sea, if true. It won’t lower bills or lead to greater energy security but will drive an even hotter planet. What a terrible signal to give to rest of the world #ClimateVandalism
