1/2 I joined the letter led on by @drmaisato to the Government of #Iran regarding the arbitrary arrests, detention and mistreatment of individuals in the context of the nationwide protests, as well as the imposition of the death penalty in cases predating the protests.

It was preposterous that amnesty characterised a trauma informed service to support women who have been subject to sexual and domestic violence as anti rights. There was an impact on service users and this shows an impact on staff. No wonder those involved were and remain so angry

When self-declared progressives started sending images like this to feminists on old Twitter, not only did nobody give a shit, they denied that it happened at all. When we warned that violent threats degrade all of public discourse, we'd *at best* be told to suck it up because we deserved it.
