the most annoying thing about these people is they're demanding that you be half-informed and fairly useless at everything. the way we win is specialization. find your things. get SMART about them. get GOOD at fighting for them. someone else's thing doesn't need you to barge in knowing nothing!

There’s a cottage industry of online grifters whose whole schtick is getting you to flagellate yourself for not investing yourself equally in every important thing happening in the world, when humans simply have limited time and capacity. You’ve gotta get your head above that stuff.

A tourist was seriously injured after being thrown 8 feet into the air by a bull bison in Yellowstone National Park. Professional photographer Mike Macleod filmed the incident.

Except for not covering my hair, what I wear to the beach is indistinguishable from imam-approved "modesty swimwear". But I'm blonde and already had to get one little sunny guy carved out of my skin, so no one cares. Which is how we know the beachwear question is not about "freedom".

There is no reason to pass laws about Muslim women going to the beach in burkinis. That's already a big step in rejecting fundamentalist interpretations of Islam.

Every time someone is like "prison abolition? but what about RAPISTS" bitch we have basically abolished prison for rapists as it IS, and we aren't even trying anything restorative or whatever
