It's been a while since I made a brand new Labyrinth prop replica, but here it is: The first 13 hour clock that you see in the film. I made my version with laser cut/engraved wood, mother of pearl, vinyl, poster paper, and resin.

A prop replica of the first 13 hour clock shown in the Jim Henson film Labyrinth. A large wood antique clock with mother of pearl mosaic design and brass trimmings is shown hung from a tree. In the distant background is Jareth's Labyrinth, with his castle just peeking through the tree branches. The clock is shown at sunrise, with warm pink and yellow lighting.

The Weirdwater universe centers a meditation practice, often combined with alchemy and/or ancient magical tech, that allows access to the Thousand Worlds of the mind. Hallucinogenic shellfish, giant salamander secretions, & slime that grows in radioactive sea caves are just a few of the ways in.

The Weirdwater Confluence: watery weirdness (The Living Waters and The Isle of a Thousand worlds) and steamy queer romance (unpainted and The world within). All by Dani Finn.

omg 🥲 all it takes to remove these annoying AI answers from search results is to add "-AI" at the end of your search query. then you get normal results again. it seems to work in all search engines?? no more dumb AIsplaining! (change a life, tell your friends)

Generally speaking, sci-fi is less a prediction and more about the present moment: How we treat each other. What we value. What it means to be human. Enter 2025. Now that many of the metaphors have become a literal reality, it feels like nightmares coming true.

TTRPG systems design is an awesome discipline because your project notes may contain such gems as "inspired by the work of Johannes Kepler, Goblin's Henchman, and Sir Roger Penrose"

more people need to give themselves the opportunity to be a jack of all trades when it comes to gamedev. go on and learn the music software to make the music. learn to code (even if poorly). do the art and animation yourself. you’ll get it to work! it’s liberating to see how much you can accomplish.

I cannot believe that our leaders are getting this fucking comfortable fucking around during the ides of fucking march.

new month, new teaser 👀 I'm so excited to be a little clearer: this is a logo for a new speculative SFF magazine of fiction and poetry by queer authors. april 1st @mruthrobinson.bsky.social @ashvalewrites.bsky.social and I at last reveal the name and the unblurry logo. see you on the other side 🪐🗡️

Blurred teaser of a logo that, perhaps, is a sword and planet. The background is light purple with a background image that is also blurred, with a figure on the right and woods to the left.
