I know it comes from a place of worry and care but my mom loves to tell me about a crime just because it’s related to a business I use or something I do. So I have to hear about every Uber Eats, gym, walking trail, and parking lot crime. Like, lady, I can’t lock the door and never go outside 🤣
What’s really peculiar about the “rapture” theology is that it’s based on a really convoluted and selective reading of scripture, dates back no further than the 19th C, is rejected by the Orthodox, Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Reformed, and is basically contradicted by the Apostle’s Creed. But…

I used to read them. Major disasters, while terrible, were also framed by evangelical churches as titillating...sexy almost.

I stopped bringing homework home in 8th grade. My parents were like where’s your homework? And I said I did it at school. I would show them and they were like but how do you do it at school? And I said oh in other classes. The lessons are easy and yeah that’s how I ended up in private school 💀💀

After seeing Resident Evil yesterday (and Weapons last year), it is so clear that Sam Levinson was wasting Austin Abrams’ time on Euphoria. Also, Zach Cregger is on a fantastic run right now: Barbarian, Weapons, and now Resident Evil. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
