🚨🚨🚨According to NOAA NCEI, July 2026 was the warmest month on record for the Contiguous U.S. - beating out July 1936. This is devastating for climate deniers, who love July 1936 as a faux counterfactual. More importantly, it is devastating for all of us. 🔥🔥🔥

In the last year in the U.S., over 10,000 monthly records have been broken, and almost 200 all time records have been broken. But apparently we hardly break records. 🤷♀️
In June, 2021, Quillayute broke its previous all time record high by 11° when it reached 110°. Quillayute, Washington is of course well known for its urban heat island with an approximate population of 400, and located near Hoh Rainforest.

If she were trying to convince the public, that would be admitting that public opinion matters. This is a performance of dominance. This is "truth is what we say it is." This is "you'll believe what we tell you."
