New Illustration: "We Beat 'Em Before..." Taken from a British WW2 poster, the original features a WW1 German soldier at the top. I just swapped it for the Nazi soldier it had at the bottom.

A propaganda poster in a painterly style. At the top there is a Nazi soldier in a faded grey with his hands raised at the point of a bayonet. Above him it says "We beat 'em before.." Below him in darker grey is an ICE agent in the same posture, with a hand pushing back at him, its palm out in a "stop" gesture. Below it says "We'll beat 'em again!"

We only rate dogs. This is spaghetti con salsiccia. Obviously has the noodles and the sausage, but is notably missing sauce. Please only send dogs. Thank you… 13/10 (IG: futrinka_tacsko)

a person in a white shirt and blue striped boxers holds a black and tan dachshund under the armpit with one arm and under the chin with the other. the dog has a massive mouthful of cooked spaghetti chomped in his mouth, with noodles sticking out in all directions, and a single long strand dangling down the length of his skinny body. we know the position isn’t ideal, but the dog was recently fished out of the garbage where he found this treasure, so it’s a temporary solution. the dog’s eyes are wide: likely a combination of joy at the feast, surprise as the swift removal, and shock at having been caught.

23-year-old journalist Plestia Alaqad, like many Gazans, lost her home in the first days after October 7. unable to reenter her homeland, stuck watching the horror continue, she’s publishing her diaries from reporting on the ground. full interview @teenvogue.com www.teenvogue.com/story/plesti...

Pic of Plestia Alaqad overlaid with text from interview: Plestia Alaqad: I can't believe that it's almost — [she pauses] no, it's not almost, it's actually two years. Okay, I can't believe that it's been two years of this ongoing genocide. When I was reporting in Gaza for 45 days, these 45 days felt like 45 years. And now it's 200 days feeling like 200 years for the people who are actually still on the ground facing bombing, displacement and starvation, which is being used as a method by Israel. Israel is literally ethnically cleansing people in Gaza, and we're watching a genocide unfold live on TV.

More than 50 boats, carrying activists from 44 nations, are sailing together toward Gaza—the largest civilian flotilla in modern history. A united stand against the illegal siege, bringing hope and solidarity to the Palestinian people. (Palestine Online)
