When I get home, I’ll get high alone.

For anyone who tells you the Moda Center is this huge economic engine… no, it isn’t. Not at the scale that Wilson and other leaders keep claiming. It would take many decades to see break-even economic returns, let alone actual gain after pouring hundreds of millions into a renovation.

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson and others continue citing “$600M” in annual economic activity from the Moda Center. Nearly half of that is player salaries, i.e. far less relevant. In reality, the Rose Quarter generates ~$18M in tax revenue each year, some of which is put back into the stadiums.

#UPDATE — New video shows #ÏCE agents running along the side of the car. Video does not show the agents in danger of being "run over." Agent shot & killed the driver—witnesses say they heard 4 shots. Incident occurred in #Biddeford, #Maine— about 15 miles south of #Portland.

I don’t remember if Lindsey Graham or Brett Kavanaugh melted down first, but their back-to-back, angry outbursts are part of the reason Donald Trump didn’t pull the nomination after Christine Blasey Ford came forward.

An angry Lindsey Graham during the Senate confirmation hearing for Brett Kavanaugh.

'Michael' Is The Most Cynical Attempt At Biopic Myth-Making Yet | Defector

Michael is a bad movie. Let’s just get that out of the way now. It is a movie designed less to tell a story than to recreate moments, ones you are probably already familiar with. It is a movie…
