Loitering with good intent in Aotearoa NZ. I like big books and I cannot lie (actually, any kind is fine). I say very little here. Pics are mine & not AI. Hope you're well.

This is Bonggu. His human took this "embarrassing" pic of him napping. Even shared them with us to humiliate him. Jokes on them though because he's still very handsome. 13/10 (IG: hi_bbomabbong_2)

bonggu, a black and tan dachshund, lies tucked under a black blanket with his head resting on a pillow. his eyes are closed, his tongue sticks out slightly, and his tiny front teeth peek through as he naps on his back.

. Untitled This book about extinct birds is heavier than any bird: heavier than the dark bird eating my heart, page after page of abandoned wings. I lift it up and sit it on my lap and listen to it purring. .

Yesterday, for Mel Brooks' 100th birthday, 7,000 fans gathered in the main square of Bologna, Italy, to sing “Happy Birthday” to him. Mel himself replied with a video message, and then the crowd watched Young Frankenstein together. ❤️ #Filmsky 📽️

Another arduous harbourside commute in Ōtepoti, NZ. A photon-tastic time of year here. PSA for locals or visitors: a new indoor climbing place opened today, over the awa from the stadium. Looking forward to being swiftly reminded of my significant limitations there soon.

A dusk view of a calm harbour reflecting a clear sky with soft colours, and a darkening cycleway leading towards a small city.

Save theatre, libraryes, parkes, indie bookestores, museums, cinema, non-chain restaurantes, coffee shoppes, meetinge places, qualitye public educacioun, communitye marketes, lyve musique, weirde places, goode places. All the thinges that corporate logic ys so eager to distorte and remove.
