It's been a long time since I felt anything even remotely akin to pride on the 4th of July, but this year really takes the cake. I pray that someday that will change - that we will have a country worth celebrating - but I am beginning to think that may not happen.

Introduce yourself with your worst feedback from school: I'm Hurm It's sad that reading that book turned me into a sad, cynical, unhappy nonbeliever.

I haven't been "active" on social media in over a year - I don't remember how this works. Do I attempt to be funny or serious? Do I do a tiktok dance for attention? Which ritual do I perform in the faerie ring behind the Starbucks dumpster to meet folks in ttrpgs, writing, and farming, and theology?

Well, today marks my departure from The Other Site. I'll be deleting everything off my account and saving my handle there for posterity. May even take the inspiration to finally obliterate my hibernating Instagram account as well. Really truly start fresh.

So stoked you all get to follow my social media path again as I have done with Twitter and Insta and FB, where I create an account, lurk for 3-5 years while posting occasionally, then make it my whole personality for 3 years, and then abandon it like an archive of my life on a dusty shelf.
