If you are a conservative and want to salvage something of that ideology, you must also support the eradication of the Republican Party and American Conservatism as if presently exists. They are the enemy of small government, human liberty, peace and thriving.

I was raised as a conservative, by conservatives. Right wing politics are nothing but a rhetorical game. Played to its end, that game leads to the destruction of organized human life on earth.

The only responsible attitude for liberals and progressives to align on is that all right-wing grievances, claims and believes are not only false, but malicious lies. Nothing passes the mouth of an American conservative in public life that is not meant to harm and destroy the lives of millions.

The Republican Party must be destroyed as a functional political entity. But conservatism itself must be eradicated in any way that resembles it's modern existence. There is nothing to save. There is nothing that deserves your respect.

i don't know where i read this but to me it's a really neat way to consider how traditions and religious laws come to be. if you know what the effects are of trichinosis, whole religions having a pork taboo makes a lot of sense.

More people should be aware of the fact that in February-April of 2024 the PLO submitted a framework for a two year time bound negotiation track with Israel on Palestinian statehood and the US just flatly said no and didn't provide a counter proposal.
