Katie Wilson is in Beacon Hill this afternoon announcing a brand new executive order targeting changes dealing with traffic safety across city government. The five-section order is beefy, and I think it represents the biggest reaffirmation of Vision Zero in Seattle since the initial 2015 commitment.

RapidRide G hit a huge milestone last month seeing 7,325 weekday average boardings Its high water mark is now at over 3,250 riders per mile. A single digit number of cities have a bus line with a ridership per mile half that high and only a few with ridership per mile higher

I know I said I'll do a Crosslake Connection, but I am honestly getting kind of bored of making Link Light Rail videos. I think it will be easier to make after I talked about other topics first. I have been sitting on an urban canopies script since December that I'd rather work on.

Sound Transit has a survey up around the realignment of the ST3 plan. It's very high level and doesn't ask about specific projects, but does have an open form question at the end where you can list your priorities. soundtransit.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_...

Unacceptable. Let's organize to Save Ballard Rail. DM me if you want to help. Guiding principles: ▶️ Must build the entire line & stations shown below ▶️ Must build as quickly as possible ▶️ Cannot come at expense of other ST3 projects ▶️ Savings come from adopting Euro practices ▶️ Will need more $$

It is absurd that we had to wait a year after the waterfront trail opened to have a direct connection on Yesler, when the rest of the path is a mere two blocks away, but it's good that it is happening. This Saturday, I will publish my video on the revised waterfront, which will touch on this.

It’s happening! Yesler Way is getting a new protected bike lane from Occidental Ave S to the waterfront.

A busy urban street. A cyclist wearing a white helmet and teal shirt riding a light-colored road bike is stopped behind a crosswalk. She is next to a white SUV.

I've been trying to get a video out on this recently published survey that found 60% of people express interest in living car free, but each time I record the script, it just doesn't feel right. I might split it up and release it as a few shorts instead. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

I was going to make a video on the Federal Way extension, but I am getting sick of my GoPro losing footage for seemingly no reason. Not sure if its getting old or what. I'll probably just postpone it until after getting a new camera and try again next month.
