Simply incredible that we're finally going to fix the L8.

The Yale slip lane is now permanently closed, with Boren handling all I-5 traffic! We had a great time meeting the SDOT crew and can't wait to see the improvements this will bring for the L8! We'll head back down later today to share some more photos after everything is fully installed.

New bus lane is coming along! Thanks @transportation.seattle.gov !! This weekend involves a bit of rechanneling traffic. Actual bus lane will be painted in a few weeks.

ROUTE 8 and DENNY WAY: starting on Saturday, buses and cars merging onto Interstate 5 won’t compete for the same lane of Denny Way. To keep traffic flowing, people driving to I-5 south from eastbound Denny Way will turn right on Boren Ave and left on Howell St instead of using Yale Ave.

The FREE Waterfront Shuttle starts today! King County Metro’s summer Waterfront Shuttle is now rolling. It operates every 15 minutes, 10 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Plus, it’s easy to connect directly to the Seattle Streetcar, Sound Transit light rail, and even the Monorail.

Heads up, Seattle! From 10p TONIGHT (7/22) to 5a Thurs (7/23), 2 left lanes of northbound I-5 from Swift Ave S to just south of the West Seattle Bridge will close. The northbound I-5 off-ramp to Corson Ave S/Michigan Street (exit 162) will also close. @transportation.seattle.gov
