I honestly think Summer Streets are the best events in NYC, and possibly the world. 10 miles of car free walking, riding, and jogging through all of Manhattan, completely free. Just unbeatable.

South of Midnight was the first time I saw my peers talk about the South as something beautiful and worth seeing. That game did something I didn't think was possible; it was a love letter to a region I believe we should fight for, and for once, my peers got to see the beauty and magic that I see.

The problem with the medium of videogames: everything is a 7/10 because putting out 10/10s requires risking it being a 3/10. This is a no risk no reward industry. BORING.

Trying to sell people on BDS is funny. "Howww... can I cover *some* videogames but not *all* videogames??" You're skipping the several dozen phone and steam games that come out every day already, you'll be ok. You simply do not have to be utterly beholden to power.
