That's because it's a bold new strategy, or at most a provocation. It's only escalation if it's a Western or democratic state defending itself. In fact, a Western democracy existing is in itself a dangerous act of provocative escalation against Eurasianism.

Oleksii Yukov, head of “Platsdarm” in Sloviansk, was killed. Before 2014, he recovered WWII soldiers. Later, he became Ukraine’s first to evacuate bodies from the front, incl. Ilovaisk. During the full-scale war, his team found about 2,000 fallen soldiers and civilians.
