When bad people become politicians, make their money through corruption, then get out for at least 10 or 20 years it’s only the politics nerds who remember what they did when they die. No big celebrations. Pretty much everyone even goes along with the rose-tinted, establishment goodbyes.
The less identity the place you live has, the more you identify with the overarching identity. That’s why you get flag-humping bootlickers who live in cut copy strip stripmallsville.

I see life as a shared gift, received from others and passed on to others, living and dying as one process, in which lies both our suffering and our reward. Without mortality to purchase it, how can we have the consciousness of eternity? I think the price is worth paying.
What if revive I-5 is actually a plot to make Seattle more socialist by forcing us to ride public transit more and be around other types of people we might not regularly be and maybe even develop some empathy. @wsdot.wa.gov
