While Millennials and Gen Z blame each other for ruining society, the same monsters that have been ruining society since before we were all born are laughing their asses off. Generational divides are made up, and that’s fine until they’re weaponized to keep us fighting over complete bullshit.

Remember when Crunchyroll tried to make their subtitles significantly worse a year ago? They backtracked on it at the time, but I suspected they were just delaying their plans to shift from Aegisub to OOONA, and sadly, it seems I was right: Crunchyroll is actively pushing OOONA subs to users now.

I have an appointment in 4 hours. I have been awake and out of bed for 4 hours, yet have been on “standby” the entire time and have done nothing of note so far. If this isn’t textbook clichè adhd behaviour I don’t know what to tell ya

The background details and NPCs that didn’t get as much love look better. They’re simpler, cleaner, and don’t look like porcelain babies. The main characters are buried under far too much indulgent detail and change for the sake of change.

In seriousness I think the remake’s suffering from an issue seen in other remakes, where the creators feel like *everything* must be redesigned and made fancy to justify the project, even if it’s not an improvement. It’s the kind of attitude that makes things overly detailed and extraneous.
