I notice this tactic among prejudiced anti-queer groups - terfs, Christians etc. They invade our spaces that are already welcome to all and start complaining that they don’t feel safe, and that these spaces should bend towards their bigotry so that they feel included. Everything becomes the Nazi bar

I need folks to understand that as little as 20 years ago it was -expected- for any queer event, of just about every nature, to offer free HIV testing and distribute safe sex materials. It has nothing to do with “it’s about sex.” It has everything to do with “We want you to be okay.”
