Aurawra is done for me. Off early to get to work. Think I have some things to sort out when I'm home. Lots of fun and truly great to meet/see folks again, but I felt kind of low key in a haze the whole con that I think is something that I need to work out how to dispel when I get back to Melbourne.
Feeling low key at Aurawra haha. Big night last night at the rugby with friends. Maybe a nap will help.
I washed my bird suit with my Dad (he's a tough hand wash) in prep for Aurawra. First time going to this con! Starting to get a bit anxious about all the people I want to see and things I want to do (or vice verse), especially having to leave Sunday afternoon. Hope to see some folks there!
I've worked as a suit performer for about 17 years and the only time I ever had to have some kind of medical episode for heat was in a parade at about 28 degrees. Sometimes fursuiting is knowing when to say "yeah, nah" and this is one of those times.

If you ever told me a time would come where I dread having to wear huffy animal/anthro costumes for money on weekends and performing, I would say you were lying. That time has well and truly come after an absolute nightmare month of work followed up by 3 gigs in my weekend. Gotta change something.

Good news: Room mate acquired so I am gonna go. Bad news: My card is expiring the month of Aurawra and the hotel wouldn't accept it, so I couldn't book a room. It was too late to organise when I thought this might be an issue :(.
The years of running the FurDu room gauntlet have made me anxious as heck for Aurawra. Actually gonna try and go for the first time. I just wanna get it all sorted and then get back to normal for this week because hoo boy do I have so much work to do :')
