Of course a penguin on a scooter is incredibly stupid but Namco have catered to the hardcore motorbikeists too, allowing you to play as the more traditional 'woman with bunny ears on her helmet' as one of the default characters 🏍️🐰

I'm serious too. I cannot believe Namco was so unconfident over low JP sales that they completely removed HALF THE GAME and cut out every branching path, cutscene and story beat from the US/EU versions. Actually evil behavior. Go with the Project Nemo fan translation of the JP version.

Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere - Japanese version (1999) An amazing mix of dystopian transhumanist storytelling, gorgeous animation and satisfying dogfighting. This was a superb and unique experience. Play the JP version only, not the severely gutted international release.

I wish I could be there playing that Side By Side 2 cab!
