he/him, A guy dreaming about working with film but would settle for a job that simply pays good at this point. Happily migrated from Twitter.

I think developers need to hurt their players more and The Blood of Dawnwalker plays with that idea very well. Kill the completionist in your head, destroy the idea that you need to see everything in an RPG. But also...you could hurt me *more* Dawnwalker.

Dawnwalker's friction is freedom. Embrace it. Play in that discomfort. https://kotaku.com/the-blood-of-dawnwalker-review-rebel-wolves-time-management-2000735308

Finished watching Cregger’s Resident Evil, it was pretty good! Some fans are gonna be irritating about some things that I don’t think matters that much, but this felt exactly like how I imagined a Resident Evil film should be #blutoid

When I worked in loc (outsourcing) I ended up on a small project that was clearly translated with google translate or something of the like, at least for Italian. I had to retranslate the whole game because all verbs in every string used bare infinitive instead of present tense.

Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.

I have a lot of favorites, but I think one of my recent favorites is Prey: Mooncrash. This DLC does Deathloop better than Deathloop, it has a reactive system that reminds me of the zapping system from Resident Evil 2, what you do with one character affects the run of next character. #blutoid
