Certainly seems to be a lot more "smoking is cool" vibes in movies again suddenly. Watched 3 movies recently thst featured lighting up a ciggy after doing the badass thing and I get it, I used to smoke, but I don't think it's as cool as they do.

Boring is very important. Boring leads to imagination and thinking. It leads to change and innovation. Lots of modern technology tries to remove boring, and keep you constantly busy and engaged.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
