Also, as someone who has been on bookstagram for years now, there are diff rules online vs sending to an agent. Readers don’t necessarily look at sales (agents do) so if talking about your book online, just have fun with talking about your vibe. You can comp shoes/ movies/ music/ visual artists etc

For the first one - I think it's fine to have some comps that are outside your specific subgenre, but I'd make sure to have at least one comp that's higher-stakes.
I was just coming to plug the podcast “With Series Potential” by @zillawrites.bsky.social @annahirsch.bsky.social and @ivytwoods.bsky.social Their first episode talks about comps, and the rules you need to follow (and the ones you can break!)
re: logline and housekeeping- Most feedback I got told me to put housekeeping at the top, and I did get more requests with that format. I originally started my query with a hooky line about my story at the top but I moved it below the housekeeping to start the blurb. That worked well!
I have a different answer for the last one. Since I did a mentorship, I queried some agents who had rejected me before the program and just mentioned up front "I previously queried you with this project on DATE and it has since been significantly revised as part of [mentorship]".
