My love for fictional characters motivates me to write. I've always grown deeply attached to characters as people, and how well a story can convey respect for the people within it, while still being engaging by its other merits, is one of my highest evaluations of whether I like a story.

A message of hope amidst oppression. It's very much about how to cope with the stress of times like these and find a way forward. The protagonist is a naive, reckless teenage dumbass, but she keeps her eyes focused on a path to change things. That gives her strength that she can pass onto others.
