what the hell was I thinking getting into the video game industry oh yeah, I'm a sicko who enjoys making games I just wish the freaks controlling this godforsaken industry felt the same
The death of physical media seems like a small thing practically but in essence it represents the total dissolution of games as “objects of art” and instead reduces them purely to “intellectual property”. It’s a slow disaster but if you care about games as an art form it IS a disaster.

Announcing they're shutting down the PS3 and Vita stores at the same time so you get a glimpse at an all digital future. This industry is just driving itself directly into a wall.

I hope someone, somewhere cracks down on this shit. It’s basically akin to breaking into someone’s shop and stealing all their wares to sell elsewhere. Another example of why GenAI sucks and should be taken down.
