Trump NEVER intended to obey the "Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia Act of 2026." On Sept 22, just four days after signing the bill into law, Trump arranged for the import of 300,000 tons of Russian diesel. It is due to arrive any day now.
Sad to say but she’s right. There was a time when providing economic support to a rogue nation supplying targeting data and offensive military equipment to an enemy of the U.S. would be considered grossly unpatriotic, traitorous, impeachable. But this’ll be forgotten by Monday.

It's already illegal. Congress banned it near-unanimously in 2022. That law allows the ban to be lifted only if Russia withdraws from Ukraine. He's simply breaking the law that's already on the books.

I realize foreign leaders think they got to do what they got to do to appease Trump and avoid angering the psychopath. But it should be pretty clear by now that when you kiss his ass you only make things worse for your country and don’t help the opposition to Trump in the US.
He knew. He intentionally stiffed them because he’s an arrogant prick who sues his OB/GYN patients. They repeatedly tried to get the bill paid. Then someone posted their pleas on social media. A bunch of us retweeted it. It went viral. ONLY THEN did this scumbag pay.
This is, effectively, the same stupid argument that Elon Musk made against advertisers for not advertising on X. It's also not how antitrust law works at all.

Books can be a place to feel seen, understood, and welcomed. We have to push back against attacks on free speech.
More than 12,000 books have been banned in schools nationwide. That is unacceptable. Every young person deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read — especially those who may not feel welcomed in their classrooms or communities.
Blaming Ukraine's president for U.S. diesel prices is the political equivalent of burning dinner and then deciding the smoke detector is the problem.
