My hot take is: "almost all of it" (especially classic period). That's the reason why LLMs took off for general population so easily. From the consumer point of view, the computer is finally "what we imagined it since 1940s": something you can just talk to casually, ask stuff and give tasks.

They’re in total denial about it because they prefer to champion the Western nations that tried to impede that progressivism.

Olena Halushka@halushka.bsky.social · 5mo agoAs I sit through yet another russian Shahed attack on Kyiv, I'm thinking of one of russia's most horrific crimes — the targeted destruction of the Mariupol Drama Theater four years ago today. That airstrike killed hundreds of innocent people, mostly women and children who had sought shelter there.

The IOC called it a violation of Rule 50 and bаnned him from using it, treating remembrance of the fallen as a political stаtement.
The worst part about all of this is that Vladyslav Heraskevych didn’t break any rules, and everyone knows that, even those, who disqualified him. This isn’t even a discussion. Fuck IOC.

No one likes when I say this, but the Obama admin really is responsible for a lot of what is happening now with Ukraine, and even Trump, since weakness towards russia enabled them to manipulate the 2016 elections. If their economy had been smashed via sanctions or military force, we may not be here.
