I know I'm not updating a lot on Stagnant Gold; but progress is still happening! The problem is that it's all in excel sheets, Notepad++ (where I code in Javascript), and in database, so it's not the most interesting thing to show 😆

I thought most "Deathblow" moves in games were self explanatory: 50% chance to hit or miss, or "double the damage or no damage at all". Turns out, most formulas in games vary from this WILDLY in the extremes. It's fine to tip the balance for players, but it kills the concept a bit... 🤔 #gamedev

Descriptions are to be... uhh... updated. I know so many players will absolutely hate being told that one is a "casual difficulty" or mode, and others will immediately jump into the "challenge" mode right away... 😥 #gamedev #stagnantgold #indiedev
