Ku's been super clingy to Shu since his fainting episode because they want to be right there to help in case his condition worsens. sleeping like this they're subconsciously keeping track of Shu's body temperature to make sure he doesn't get too feverish

there's an intentional similarity between the poses here when Shu starts to falter. they can't feel each other's pain, but they can sense when things are wrong, like that anxiety or intense heart-pounding you get when you have a bad feeling about something

Not to soap box about this but i feel that ppl in the english indie comics space should hear it: creating doujinshi/self published comics without the stamp of a prestigious fair or an indie publisher does not make you any less of a comic artist. drawing comics makes you a comic artist.

I hate that storyboards have become expected to be final clean animation poses with breakdowns in perfect perspective. this is not how it was supposed to be. let the animators animate! (I say as both a boarder and an animator)

I love how the previous generations of storyboard artists were allowed to draw silly cartoon characters on flat wobbly backgrounds, but now we have to learn how to draw the most realistic anime proportions and perspective ever to even be considered for a job
