Sorry to be going on about it but this Glen Hansard thing has middle aged (mostly) men queuing up voluntarily admit that they are either themselves dangerous to women or completely cool with other people being dangerous to women as long as they seem pretty sound to them. Over and over again.
Even only going by things witnessed first-hand in my direct circle, the earliest allegations I know of regarding him trying to pick up girls he knew to be underage date back to the early 90s.
This is the abuser’s playbook. Present a bunch of times your victim appeared “happy” and “normal” as evidence you couldn’t be abusive, even though it does nothing to disprove the claims and is in fact the textbook response to abuse, especially when a child is involved.

I think a lot of people didn’t know about Hansard and him being a pedo. That’s the kind of thing I usually know about and I was pretty surprised to hear it (as someone who keeps up on pedo/rapist news but not Glen Hansard news). But obviously yes many people DID know & as always were undeterred.

He did not hold back. What was unusual was that he took to social media to vent knowing it would attract vile bile. I asked him why.
